Cylinder head resurfacing is a way of refacing the mating surface of the cylinder head.
Engine overheating or cylinder head gasket failure can result in a warped cylinder head.
The only way a head face can be flattened is by skimming it – machining a new surface onto the head face.
Even if your head appears to be very flat, if you’re fitting a metal style multi-layer steel (MLS) head gasket, it is highly advisable to have a perfectly flat face skimmed onto your head, even if it’s just a minute about of material removed.
Cylinder heads with valves removed from $70.00
Cylinder heads with cams and valves still fitted from $120.00
