Our services include comprehensive cylinder head reconditioning in our licensed facility. Additionally, we supply high-quality aftermarket cylinder heads, gasket sets, and head bolts.

Before we can recondition a cylinder head, we must ensure that it is in a serviceable condition.

The first step is to check its hardness to determine whether it meets the minimum hardness requirements. If the cylinder head is too soft, it can cause the head gasket to fail, necessitating the replacement of the entire cylinder head. Next, we need to check if the head is straight; if it isn’t, it will either need to be straightened or replaced.
These initial checks are performed when the head is dropped off to us and are conducted in your presence.
Each head is then hot-washed and pressure-tested.
The head face is machined flat and is hot rewashed to remove any swarf.
Valve faces and valve seats are cut and vacuum-tested to ensure they seal.
New valve stem seals are fitted, and the head is then reassembled.
Valve heights for hydraulic tappets are set, or if shim tappets, the clearances are set.
